Instagram

Instagram currently has 1 billion people using it every month. Most people use it to keep in touch with society, and their friends. Instagram is a photo sharing platform that allows people to connect with friends and their followers. Some people find Instagram as a way to make an income, and support their living. Others use it to promote their business or brand. Instagram is used by a billion users world wide. Who find it as a way to connect with society.

DO I LIKE INSTAGRAM:

I use Instagram on a daily basis to connect with my friends, and to keep up on the latest trends. Instagram is one of my favorite forms of social media. Its a great way to see what people are up to, and to share what your doing. It always is rewarding when someone likes your post, and shows some interest in it. Instagram is by far one of my favorite things to do on my free time.

Interesting Conversations

A great way to keep a conversation going, is to connect with the person your talking to. Both people take part in the conversation, so its important that you both enjoy it.

-Running: This is how I choose to reconnect with myself. Running is a way to stay healthy, while getting to experience different scenery first hand. I find running as a way to get away from stressful times. It’s always peaceful, when there is a slight breeze, and you can feel the breeze rush through your hair. Most of the time, I don’t even listen to music. Getting to hear the birds is a great way to connect with yourself and to connect with the world we live in, in a different aspect then usual. Running doesn’t always have to be intense, a light jog can be an effective way to stay healthy. 

THINGS TO DO BEFORE AND AFTER:

Stretching is an important way to get your body ready for a jog or a run. Stretching is also important when you are on an inclined surface. Running on a inclined surface can cause injuries such as shin splints and torn hamstrings. After the jog, remember to remain standing. Sitting after a jog, can cause your muscles to tense up, causing pain the next time you run. Another important thing to remember is to drink lots of water before, during, and after the jog. This will keep your body hydro-rated, and limit the risk of dehydration.

HOW RUNNING HELPS YOU MENTALLY:

Running is a great way to connect with yourself. Life can be very stressful, and running is a great way to isolate yourself from all the negativity. There will be times where I get home after school, and go for a jog. I usually run any where from 2-4 miles. This helps me process my thoughts, and think about the day without interruption. I always think about how my day went, make a homework plan, think about what I have to do for the day. Running always helps me through stressful times. I always have my phone on silent, and take time away from social media to find myself again.
